Outrageous Idea! What You Think?

I want to run something by you. I was sitting here working (which I can’t wait to tell you about, but you’ll be getting more on that later), when I got this hit!

But before doing anything about it, I thought I’d see if it would even be of interest to you.

Most of the programs I offer are high-end programs.

So I said to myself, “Self”, I says. “What if I did something completely outrageous and offered a 4-week teleclass with my spirit guides, Theos, so super-duper inexpensively that anyone who wanted to participate could, without question.”

Oh wow, awesome! What a great idea! Wait a minute…I may think it’s awesome, but what do YOU think?

If I were to schedule a 4-week program in October and let’s say I offered it for some wild and crazy fee like – I don’t know – $97? $79? Would that appeal to you? Is a 4-part call with Theos even something you’d be interested in?

Theos and I both have tons of ideas about where we could take this, but I’d rather know what YOU would most want to get out of our four weeks together.

LAW OF ATTRACTION: In the Driver's Seat

Envision yourself in the driver's seat of your car. Where are you headed? What path are you taking? How long will it take you to get there? How do you get around traffic and road blocks? These are some questions that can be applied to life as well. How does one find the answer to these questions? By learning about, understanding, and applying the various powerful laws of the universe. These are the laws which govern our very existence. There are several laws that can help one get on track, two of them, which work in tandem are......the law of relativity and the law of proper perspective.

The law of relativity tells us several things: first, that all things are connected and nothing is bad per se, just an experience with a lesson, which has a benefit. But it is up to each of us to find that good. This is called the "tests of initiation" and the way to pass is to be true to yourself, and pay attention to your inner dialogue while you are looking for the answer. Next, the law of relativity states that we must look at our problems and compare them to the problems of others. One will not have to look long or hard to find someone in worse shape. This really helps put things in perspective, for as bad as one may think it is, it could always be
worse which brings us back to the positive state of appreciation, simply by looking outward and broadening your scope of vision. The law of relativity can be accelerated by using the law of proper perspective, which states that one must determine what is most important and what will produce spiritual growth and put those discoveries into play in order to reach the goal.

When Lorna had had enough of banging her head against the wall she decided that there had to be another way. She wanted several things in life, but her ultimate goal was to achieve success in her field, leave her corporate career, and start her own consultancy business. But at each turn, Lorna kept reaching road blocks. She was passed over for additional company paid educational opportunities, was not allowed to attend meetings with larger clients, and could not get the ball rolling on the preliminary phase of business start-up. All of these things were necessary if Lorna wanted to achieve her goals. Lorna was always busy, but as far as her accomplishments went - she may as well have been standing still! Lorna needed a course of action. She needed to put the law of proper perspective to work immediately.

She spent a long weekend looking at her goals, tracking her actions up until this point, and realized that she had several goals, but no plan for how to reach them. She had been winging it. In essence, she had just handed the keys to her car over without batting an eye. That weekend Lorna learned that she really wanted to get back in the driver's seat, and started developing a plan for how to get there. Her plan had two phases - one for her current career and the other for getting her business off the ground. Lorna's action plan included taking classes, finding a mentor, and developing a business plan. Not only did her outline help her put things in proper perspective, but it helped her create "ownership" for her life. She learned she was truly driving herself to her destination, and she was enjoying the journey.

The law of relativity and the law of proper perspective are crucial to both large and small accomplishments. It's so much easier to reach a destination with clear vision and a road map. This is what these laws accomplish. They help level the playing field by getting one to delve in deep to learn about what is really wanted. Then by removing the limiting beliefs, and assisting one in developing a way to use all available resources in manners most effective and conducive to success. The process is broken down into manageable steps, but each step brings the seeker closer to the goal. No matter the size of the goal, or the scope of the goal, this process will help one arrive.

Start today! Determine where you want to be. Begin by writing down your daily goals, prioritize them into a logical sequence (logical for you, since each person is unique), and start checking them off as you accomplish them. Keeping track of our goals will help establish ownership. It will visibly show you where you may be straying from your goals, and will help you build up your self confidence and self-esteem along the way. Both are useful, and will spur you on to meet your goals with that much more determination. To paraphrase the saying, 'each journey begins but with one small step' - so put the pedal to the metal!

Manifesting What you Want

What does it mean to manifest? What was the first thing that popped into your mind? Was it 'to create, to come to be, to bring to reality?' Close. The definition is: 'clearly apparent to the sight or understanding!' Did you know that an infinite number of things are manifested every day? That's right! Each thought, each vibration, each feeling or belief manifests a response. Be it positive or negative, good or bad.

One of the most powerful things to understand about manifestation is that what comes to be in your life began with a thought, feeling or action by You. Compelling, isn't it? The wonderful person you met, the great new job with full benefits, or the perfect house with all of that closet space and the finished basement, all began with your thoughts. Did you pat yourself on the back? Go ahead. Please give credit where it is due! On the other hand, the lack of funds, break-up, and business standstill are also of your making. How does one harness this powerful tool to create the things that are wanted, instead of the things that aren't? The answer is by becoming more in tune with your thoughts, feelings, situations, and actions. The more aware you are of where your thoughts are wandering to, the more control you will have over what is being manifested.

Ben is one of a growing number of work from home dads. It is his responsibility to take care of two children under the age of four each day, while running his successful web design business. Is it challenging? Absolutely, but Ben has managed quite nicely by making manifestation work for him. His sons used to pick the most inopportune time to make noise, wreak havoc, and well...act like toddlers! But now this rarely occurs because Ben takes the time throughout his day to focus his thoughts on what actions he would like to see occur quiet play, easy nap-time routines, and uneventful meals, and it works! No longer does Ben have to hide in the bathroom to take important business calls. He has effectively managed to create the work environment that he needs.

Manifestation requires time, patience and practice. It can be difficult to change bad habits and to train yourself to think differently, but so rewarding when the effort is made. So begin manifesting the things that you want by making that mental shift. Start small if you have to, but start today. Focus on what you want, instead of what you don't have, always keeping your eyes on the goal. Remember to look for and appreciate what is manifesting (going back to the definition the things you request will show up clearly and in plain sight), you just have to identify them as what you asked for, so be careful what you ask for. Also remember to show gratitude as your dreams and desires appear. Remember attraction, the more gratitude (positive energy) that is shown, the more positive energy that will flow back to you. With all of this positive imagery and energy, success will abound. So, start using these tips now. You'll be manifesting a great deal more of what you want. I guarantee that you will be impressed by the fruits of your effort.

Eenie, Meenie

Have you ever found yourself bored with life, of the “same ol" thing, or the repetition of a job that just does not make your engine rev? Did you know that there are many people plagued with the same challenge? The quest for how to make life more exciting. Surprisingly, the same answer works for those looking for a bit of a change in life, and for those looking to safeguard their lifestyle, in a word – diversity.

Diversification - a word familiar to most successful entrepreneurs; is a rule of thumb for not being caught by surprise. To find many things to invest money in, or different types of services to perform, so that if the bottom falls out of one market, project, or client all is not lost. It is the foundation for “multiple streams of income,” a phrase that has become very popular in the last several years as more and more people search for avenues to make money and build financial security. An example of multiple streams of income is someone who is an actor, a director, a producer, and a writer. Always having something to fall back on when something else may not pan out. Diversity is an awesome business plan that has kept many people from going bankrupt, not just the wealthy, but small business owners as well. Can you think of someone that has a small business who performs various tasks? What about a virtual assistant that performs bookkeeping, tax preparation, and customer service for clients? By offering multiple services that will appeal to various clients, it allows income to flow into the business from various sources, so that no one area will dry up leaving the business owner without a single source of revenue.

Diversity works well for business, but can the same principle apply to personal life? Absolutely! Business is not the only road that can become a little stale and predictable. It’s a fresh source of goals, ideas, and challenges that keep wonderful new things flowing in all factions of life. Generating multiple streams of ideas for enriching life is as limitless as you allow. Would you like to pursue a new job opportunity or a new field of study? What about several within the same field that will make you a more valued employee, or a couple of fields of study that will make you more marketable? The beauty of successful stream selection is finding something that you truly enjoy, because things fall into place almost seamlessly when they are a natural fit. So tune into you – your needs, desires, and visions, while deciding on your next stream.

Like most aspects of life, when diversifying, success comes that much quicker when others are asked for their assistance and input. Use your passion as a foundation for assembling a team to help you achieve your goal, and always be willing to act in kind for someone else. It may be their idea that you’ve been asked to collaborate on, that brings you oodles of success. Whether it’s your stream or theirs, teamwork may be the added ingredient that will make the stream flow like a mighty river.

So, the next time you’re feeling a bit boxed in and would like to stretch your wings – remember to look at all of your options and to not just settle on one - diversify. Pursue one for now, build it to success, and then move on to the next, and the next, and the next. It is the one true way to always stay on top—by being prepared for a worse case scenario and never having all of your eggs in one basket. So start thinking about what new business you’d like to branch into, the new ideas that will take you on a different path, and the new goals that will bring you closer to your passion. In real estate it may all be about location, but in life and business it’s all about diversity, diversity, diversity.

FOCUS: Are You Be-Ing?

Remember when you were young and played “pretend”? You could be anything that you wanted to be, there were no boundaries or obstacles. Do you recall the fun that you had being free to decide your path? It was fun wasn’t it? If so, why did you stop? Perhaps because it was time to “grow up” and be responsible? How limiting! Guess what, now’s the time to begin embracing your childhood again.

As adults we often want something, but our belief that we can’t achieve our desires end up standing in our way. It is time to suspend doubt and disbelief. The way to do this is by acting “as if”! DO not wait for the proof that you can be, do, or have what you want. BE it now in your mind. You can have what you want materialize by choosing the be-ing appropriate to your situation, since we become what we think about. The main idea here is that what shows up in your life directly corresponds to who you are be-ing. This said, if you want to make changes to the way things are showing up, your be-ing will need to change first.

FOCUS: Desire Rain

Deep within your being is your higher self. It is the creative force within you that’s responsible for bringing abundance into your life. It does not know of any bounds and cannot be contained. It is boundless and eternal. Within this higher self is the spark of thought and creation. This is where our desires are born. Our desires explode with potential and promise. It rains down upon our thinking mind and throughout our entire consciousness. It is here that it is ready to be released upon the universe. Once it is unleashed, it alters and forms our life and our reality. It is what bends the Universe to our will.

How this desire is released and in what form is totally up to you. If you release it in its raw form, it is strong and there is not force that can stop it. Newton created three laws of motion that can be applied to your releasing your desire upon the Universe.

FOCUS: Be Number One

How often have you heard someone say that work, family, a relationship, or a project was their “top or first priority?” I’ll wager that the phrase can be heard almost daily. Okay, then when was the last time you heard someone say that they were their top priority? I’ll also wager that you don’t hear that very often. How does that statement resonate with you? Would you peg the person as shallow and self-centered? Most would, but those who live their lives by the Laws of Attraction would recognize the Law of Priority, and understand that you must first take care of yourself before you can take care of others – namely, by putting yourself first.

She’s up into the wee hours of the morning, baking cookies or sewing a costume despite an aching back and early business meeting. Awake at the crack of dawn to run a couple of loads of wash before a long day begins, or dashing out during lunch to run to the dry cleaners, visit a teacher, or pick up something from the grocery store for dinner. Sound familiar? It should. This could be the life of any one of millions of mothers in the world. The law of priority affects everyone in every possible group, but mothers seem to be the group that most need to embrace this law. Mothers typically consistently put the care of their loved ones first, before their own needs, wants, and desires. Failing to realize that this act of pure selflessness, based on love, can be quite counterproductive.

FOCUS: Just Say No!

Are we talking about drugs? Well not the traditional form, but a type of drug—the inability to make the best of a situation and accept something that is not perfect but is completely acceptable. This time of year brings with it a great deal of ready-made stress. There’s the stress of having to entertain, to attend parties/gatherings, to find the “perfect” gift, and to make your home as festive as possible. Let’s not forget cooking, cleaning, and wrapping. Goodness, doesn’t that list just make you feel the need to jump up and do something? Well, unfortunately too many people do. This is the time of year that is stressful for everyone, but particularly for women, even more so if they are mothers. But you know what? It’s time reclaim the holidays. How? By saying no. It doesn’t have to be announced, simply said with conviction, embraced with strong commitment, and carried out with dedication and determination. The holiday season should be joyous for everyone.

FOCUS: The Voice of Action

The voice that says "YES, this is the right decision", "No, let's pass on this", or even "Hmm, let's mull this over a bit." In each instance your voice within advises you to take action, even if it is in-action. But do you really listen to it, or do you scoff at the idea that you actually pay attention to your inner voice?

That voice is intuition. Your intuition is your guide, the one thing that you can truly count on that is always looking out for your best interest ... if you choose to listen for it, not intercept the message, and ACT on its direction.

But it's very easy to let your voice of intuition be clouded by other things. Fear, desire, self-doubt, and over-reasoning are all some of the many types of intuition blockers. Instead, trust that your intuition is your personal guide to the correct path for you at all times. Not just when your intuition falls in line with your thoughts on a subject. Turn off whatever limiting beliefs that may be overpowering your intuition.

Perhaps it's your belief that intuition is just "mumbo jumbo". It is easy to believe this because intuition is not thought of as a concrete thing. It is based on nonverbal things, feelings, unconscious thought, and instinct. This is definitely not a description for people who define things in black and white. Intuition is often looked at as gray. But it is not. Intuition is basically a synopsis of information that has been taken in through all of the senses, memory, subconscious, and reasoning. It is like a clear overview in Cliff Notes' format.

When your intuition speaks to you do you hear it? Do you know how to identify it? Your intuition typically kicks in when you are quiet. Many people find answers to their questions in the dreams, or when meditating. Others find them "out of the blue", when they are not looking for them. Many "feel" the right thing to do, or what the next course of action should be. There are many ways that your intuition will speak to you, and everyone's is unique.

How does one learn to trust their intuition? Like everything else, if it is practiced it becomes second nature. Allow yourself to consciously ask for the answers to something that you are seeking and write down the results when they occur. Visualize you unlocking a door and seeing your answer tumble from within.

Through repetition and proof, your confidence in your intuition will grow and it will become second nature to trust it automatically.

FOCUS: Bullseye

People begin using the Law of Attraction with varying levels of focus and ability to hone in on your desires and goals. That is fine, because each of us is different. However, every one of us had at one time of our lives the ability to dream and make those dreams come true; we were all children once.

Imagine for a moment you are in a meadow. Across the way is a large bull’s eye. Before you lay two options for hitting that target. The first pile is of mismatched sticks, string, arrowheads, and feathers.
